#folkölsturen  –en maltig tur!

Detta är en specialdesignad motorcykeltur där vi kör på fantastiska vägar mellan olika hantverksölbryggerier i Västra Götaland och norra Halland. Göteborg är en vida känd ölstad med flera bryggerier som exporterar sin öl över hela världen, så det är roligt att få köra denna åktur då och då. Vi träffar de fantastiska människorna som brygger den bästa ölen på sina bryggerier, får veta mer om deras bryggeri och olika typer av öl de brygger.

Jag är mycket tacksam för bryggarna som välkomnar oss till sitt bryggeri och berättar mer om sin passion för att brygga öl. Under turen sker naturligtvis ingen provning av alkoholhaltiga drycker när vi kör motorcykel, dock kan läsk och alkoholfria alternativ * erbjudas tillsammans med mat under turen. Jag tror att hela trenden med lågalkoholläsk och helt alkoholfria alternativ kommer att öka. Självklart stöttar vi bryggerierna genom att köpa med oss deras folköl/ lättöl / alkoholfria öl för att prova senare när motorcykeln står parkerad för dagen. Folköl är det starkaste ölet man för tillfället får sälja till oss besökare som kommer på besök till deras bryggerier enligt svensk lag.

Låt oss hoppas att dessa regler ändras i framtiden. Tills dess hittar du bryggeriets öl med ABV högre än 3,5% på Systembolaget, den svenska monopolbutiken och folkölen ner till de alkoholfria alternativen du hittar i dina lokala mataffär.

*’Drycker med en alkoholhalt på högst 2,25 volymprocent kallas läskedrycker. Folköl har en alkoholhalt som överstiger 2,25 % men inte 3,5 volymprocent alkoholhalt. We meet the fantastic people who brew the best beer at their breweries, get to know more about their brewery and different types of beer they brew.’

I am very grateful to the breweries that welcome us to their place and tell us more about their passion for brewing beer. During the tour, of course, no tasting of alcoholic drinks takes place when we ride a motorcycle, however, soft drinks and non-alcoholic alternatives * can be offered along with food during the ride. I think the whole trend of low-alcohol soft drinks and completely non-alcoholic alternatives will increase. Of course, we support the breweries by buying their folköl / low abv beer with us to try later on when the motorbike is parked for the day. Folköl is the only beer at the moment they are allowed to sell to us when we visit them at their breweries according to Swedish law.

Let’s hope that these rules change in the future. Until then you find the breweries beer with ABV higher than 3.5% at Systembolaget, the Swedish monopoly store and the folköl you find at your local supermarkets.
